put X in the ratio
then
5x + 3x = 32
8x = 32
x = 32/8
x = 4
boys = 4×5= 20
girls = 3×4 = 12
hope it will help you

Answer:

8 more boys

Step-by-step explanation:

5 times 4 equals 20

3 times 4 equals 12

12 plus 20 equals 32

There are 20 boys and 12 girls, and 20 minus 12 equals 8

therefor there are 8 more boys than girls
