Then plug into this equation: y =mx+b, in which you plug in the point for the x and y values and you plug in the slope for m, so the equation becomes, 3 = (7)(4/7) + b and now solve for b in which b = -1 and now write the equation using all the corresponding things so the equation becomes: y= 4/7x -1
