Formula to be used,

Scale factor =
\frac{\text{Dimension of the image rectangle}}{\text{Dimension of the original}}

By this formula,


(7)/(2)=\frac{\text{Length of the dilated rectangle}}{\text{Length of the original rectangle}}


(7)/(2)=(L)/(22)

L =
(7* 22)/(2)

= 77 inches

Similarly, width of the the dilated rectangle =
(7)/(2)* 10

= 35 inches

Perimeter of the new rectangle = 2(Length + width)

= 2(77 + 35)

= 224 inches

Option (D) will be the correct option.
