Of the 150 students that attended the science camp, 82 were sixth graders. Marco says that less than half of the campers were sixth graders. Is he correct? Tell why or why not. Use a benchmark percent to support your answer.

Answer:

Marco is NOT correct

Explanation:

150 / 2 = 75

so more than half of the students were 6th graders

55% of students were 6th graders, that's my benchmark but I'm not really sure.

Answer:

Incorrect

Explanation:

150 students are 100%,

82 students are x%

(82*100)/150=54,67%, so that is more than half of all students
