Domain is all the x values, with an asymptote, it is just a line that approaches a number but never reaches it. The vertical asymptote if you look at x, the lines look like the come from infinity on the left and right, try to reach 6 but can't.

  • So the interval notation for this is the union of all the numbers from negative infinity up to 6 but not including 6, and all the numbers from positive infinity up to 6 but not including 6.
