We know

that if slope is positive

  • y increases with respect to x

if slope is negative

  • y decreases with respect to x

Here its y increases with respect to x.

  • Slope is positive

So 7/4 and 3 could be the slope

Answer:

\sf (7)/(4) \:\:and\:\:3

Explanation:

Straight line graphs

  • If the y-values increase as the x-values increase, the slope will be positive.
  • If the y-values decrease as the x-values increase, the slope will be negative.
  • If the line is horizontal, where each value of x has the same value of y, the slope will be zero.

Therefore, from inspection of the graph, the y-values increase as the x-values increase, so the slope is positive.

From the given answer options, the slope could be:

\sf (7)/(4) \quad or \quad 3
