A store clerk tells you that if you use a 10% off coupon the $30 jacket you want will only cost $20. What mistake has she made? What is the true cost of the jacket?

Answer: The true cost of the jacket is $27 dollars.

Step-by-step explanation: To find the cost of the jacket after the discount just do 30 X .1 to get 3. Then take 3 and subtract it from 30. The mistake the clerk made was he probably just saw 10% and did 30-10=20. The clerk might have brain damage because this is like 5th grade math.
