An airplane is 4,000 feet above the ground. It begins to descend at a rate of 140 feet per minute. How many minutes will it take until the plane is 2,600 feet above the ground?

Answer:

10 minutes

Explanation:

in five minutes it will descend by 700 feet so multiply that by 2 you get 1400 and thats how much to add and thats 10 minutes so 10

Explanation:

140 * 10(min) = 1,400

4000 - 1,400 = 2,600 ft

so will take 10 minutes for the plane to descend 1,400 ft
