Answer: $385

$385 was left in his account you find this by
Finding 3% of $550 you do this by multiplication 3% * 550 = 16.5 this gives you the unit rate of $16.50 interest each year then you multiply $16.50 by 10 to find how much it is for 10 years you get $165 for 10 years next you just subtract the original amount by $165 the interest over 10 years to get your answer $385

If his savings account does not have any more money added to it and the bank takes their interest, he wouldve lost 165 dollars and have 385 left in his account
