Using the pythagorean theorem,
a^2 + b^2 + c^2 = d^2, where,

a, b and c are the dimensions of the box, and d is the length of the diagonal.

Plug in the value into the formula


24^2 + 8^2 + 6^2 = d^2


676 = d^2


√(676) = √(d^2)


26 = d

Length of diagonal of the box = 26 cm
