James is earning money to buy a bicycle for $100. For each dollar James earns, his mother gives him $1. So far he has earned $14 mowing lawns and $7 wash cars. How much more must James earn in order to but the bike??

$14*2=$28 as her mum gives another dollar for each dollar he earns

$7*2=$14 as her mum gives another dollar for each dollar he earns

then 28 + 14 = 42

100 - 42=$58
