I’m not sure if this is right since it’s been awhile but what I do it. {55+x=90 subtract 55 on both sides (55-90) that would get you 35 so x=35} (I think I kinda forgot how to do it)

x = 35

the little box you see means that the angle is 90 degrees in total

so that means this angle is a complementary angle (if you add two angles, the sum is 90 degrees)

so to solve for x your equation would be: 90-55 = x

90 - 55 = x

35 = x
