from 32 cars that represented 100% went to 54 so is a diference of 54-32=22

Now what percentage of 32 is 22?

32 is 100%

22 is x%

x=(22*100)/32=2200/32=68.73%

First you do 54 - 32 to get 22.

Then you divide 22 by 32 to get the decimal 0.6875
