What are mandalas? (site 1)

Answer:

Mandalas are a form of art traditionally done by monks with sand. They make these huge pieces of art that are basically just shapes with a set of tweezers and they set all the pieces of sand and when they are done they just look at it then erase it and do something else. Mandalas can also be put on paper and people color them but its traditionally done by monks for fun and relaxation.
