Johan has 15 bags of potato chips. All his 6 friends want 3/5 of a bad of chips, so he pours the chips into bowls. He takes a whole bag. How many full bags are left?

Please help!

Answer:

3/5 is equal to 0.6 multiply 0.6 by 6... subtract 3.6 from 15 and subtract one more bag because Johan took one whole bag of chips... there would be 10.4 bags of chips (about 10.5 bags of chips left).

Sorry nobody didn't answer your question yesterday... Hope I'm not too late...
