Explanation:

Start at the y-intercept which is 1, and go down however many times it would take, for you to go across and get to a point. Basically to find the slope is rise over run. In this case you would "rise" -3 and run 1. I haven't done this in awhile. If its wrong, I apologize. Have a good night.
