Question

I do not mean this in any bad way, I’m just curious. How on EARTH is China the most populous country? They’ve had so many civil wars and famines and floods and massacres that killed 100’s of millions of their ancestors. The Mongolian and Japanese invasions didn’t help either.

Overpopulation in China began after World War II in 1949, when Chinese families were encouraged to have as many children as possible in hopes of bringing more money to the country, building a better army, and producing more food.
