That means that

17x + 14 + 4x - 2 = 180 Combine like terms

21x + 12 = 180 Subtract 12

21x = 180 - 12 Combine

21x = 168 Divide by 21

x = 168 / 21

x = 8

Therefore 17x + 14 is the angle you want.

<B = 17*8 + 14 = 150.

4x - 2 + <B = 180

4*8 -2 +<B = 180

32 -2 + <B = 180

30 + <B = 180

<B = 180 - 30

<B = 150
