The Ancient Greece also had another battle with the Persians named The Battle of Salamis. This battle happened in 480BC. It was a short battle a priestess named Pythia gave advice to help win the war.

The Ancient Greece also had a peninsula. The Mediterranean Sea surrounded Greece.
