At a hardware store, they can cut a length of rope off of a big roll, so you can buy any length you like. The cost for 6 feet of rope is $7.50. How much would you pay for 50 feet of rope, at this rate?

Answer:

It should be 62.5 or 62.50.

Explanation:

Here's why..........it would be very difficult to it another way so here is what I did....you have to find out how much 1 foot would cost which was 1.25 then multiply that by 50 and you will get 62.50.
