The only additional comment I could make would be to say that as countries were conquered or occupied, they were forced to conscript men to join the German Army. As far as I know, Japan did not engage in that practice except as the using men as slave labor. Italy conquered Ethiopia in 1936. I don't know what practices they employed there.
