as we can see in the first fraction, they are multiplying the denominator by 5 to get from a denom of 20 to 100. THerefore, we can now multiply the num of 17/20 by 5 to get our answer. 17x5=85

85/100 can be written as .85.

By folowing the same proccess we see that the denom in being multiplied by 2 and therefore by doing the ssame with the num we get 62. 62/100 is 0.62. To find this you can divide 62 by 100 or just know that any number over 100 is the decimel. For example in the fraction 76/100 0.76 is the decimal.
