To Find :

  • Number of nuts.

S O L U T I O N :-

Let the number of nuts and bolts be 7x and 9x respectively.

  • Number of bolts = 36

\tt { \therefore{9x = 36}}

Solving the formed equation :

: \implies \sf 9x = 36 \\ \\

  • By dividing both sides by 9 .

: \implies \sf x = \cancel{(36)/(9) }

  • By dividing 36 and 9 by 9.

: \implies{\underline {\boxed{ \tt x = 4 }}}

\huge {\therefore} The number of number of nuts are 7x = 7*4 = 28.
