{9}^((x + 2)) = {27}^(8) \\

( { {3}^(2) })^(x + 2) = ({ {3}^(3) })^(8)

{3}^(2 * (x + 2)) = {3}^(3 * 8)

{3}^(2(x + 2)) = {3}^(24)

Thus :

2(x + 2) = 24

Divide sides by 2

(2(x + 2))/(2) = (24)/(2) \\

x + 2 = 12

Subtract sides 2

x + 2 - 2 = 12 - 2

x = 10
