Explanation:

Slope:

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

=(3-6)/(2+4)

=-3/6

m=-1/2 = -0.5

Now finding the equation of the line passing through the 2 points:

3 = -1/2 * 2 +q

3 = - 1 +q

q=4

eq. y= -(1/2)x + 4

Let's find 2 other points

x=0

y= - 1/2 *0 +4 =4

(0,4)

x= -2

y= - (1/2)*(-2) +4 = 1+4 = 5

(-2,5)
