there is only 1/6 of the tub left. What was the average hourly change in tub fullness?

Answer:

1/13

Explanation:

Ice cream

starting = 2/3 full

After Jenna's shift = 1/6 of the tub

Total Time = 6.5hours

Amount of ice cream consumed =
(2)/(3) - (1)/(6)

=
(1)/(2) = 0.5

Rate per hour = amount of ice cream consumed -=/ total time

= 0.5/6.5 = 1/13 ice cream consumed per hour
