Which of these is a Pythagorean triad?

A) 5, 12, 13

Explanation:


5^2 + 12^2 = 169


13^2 = 169

∴ Option A is a Pythagorean triad.


1^2 + 2^2 = 5


3^2 = 9


5\\eq 9, ∴ Option B is not a Pythagorean triad.


6^2 + 9^2 = 117


10^2 = 100


117\\eq 100, ∴Option C is not a Pythagorean triad.

∴ A is the only Pythagorean triad out all three options.
