Answer:

g\geq +/- 3i

Explanation:

Using clues given in the problem, we can set up a solvable inequality.

A number g squared:
g^(2)

The sum of a number g squared and 4:
g^(2)+4

Is greater than or equal to:
g^(2)+4\geq

Greater than or equal to -5:
g^(2)+4\geq-5

Isolate
g:

g^(2)\geq -9

Solve for
g:

\sqrt{g^(2)}\geq √(-9)

This^ looks bad because of the negative, but as I'll show you in the next step it can be split up and you will use the value
i, or
√(-1).

g\geq √(9) √(-1)

g\geq +/-3i

I hope this helps!

Answer:

g^2 + 4 > -5

Explanation:

sum implies addition so add it with 4

i can’t put the equal to thing on here but there is supposed to be a line under the greater than symbol
