Is {3/4,3} a solution to y-8x=3

Answer:

No it is not a solution

Explanation:

If you put 3/4 in x you get

y-8*3/4=3

y-6=3

y=9

Wich is not equal to 3

Plug in the points
3 - 8(3/4) = 3
3 - 6 = 3
3 = 9
False, so no. (3/4,3) is not a solution to the equation.
