what figure of speech is used in the phrase " she would rather lose her eyesight than be around when i make one of my infrequent scences".​

I agree with the other answer, saying that context is important. But I do believe this is a hyperbole as well.

She likely wouldn’t really prefer to lose her eyesight, she’s exaggerating that to prove how undesirable the narrator‘s infrequent scenes are.

I honestly need more context. But I can confirm it isn’t a simile,metaphor or personfication. My guess is that it is a hyperbole(exaggeration) but I’m not 100% sure because I don’t know any background info on the story the quote came from.
