Answer:

The acceleration is 2.9m/s^2

Explanation:

Given

Initial\ Speed\ (u) = 6m/s

Final\ Speed\ (v) = 35m/s

Time\ (t) = 10s

Required

Determine the acceleration

This question will be answered using Newton's first equation of motion.

v = u + at

Substitute values for v, u and t

35 = 6 + 10 * a

35 = 6 + 10 a

Collect Like Terms

10a = 35-6

10a = 29

Solve for a

a = 29/10

a = 2.9

Hence, the acceleration is 2.9m/s^2
