Let x = 0

Let y = 0

Look at choice A. There is a typo here. This is not an inequality. Where is choice B? No choice B given.

Let us play with choice C and D.

y - 9 > 3x - 10

0 - 9 > 3(0) - 10

-9 > 0 - 10...This is a true statement. We know that -9 is bigger than -10. Do you know why this is true?

How about D?

Again let y = 0 and x = 0.

0 + 9 > 3(0) + 10

9 > 0 + 10

9 > 10...This is untrue. We know that 9 is NOT BIGGER than 10.

Without knowing A and B, I figured out that choice C is true. We conclude that the point (0,0) AKA the origin is a solution to the inequality given by choice C.

Understand?
