1) Pick one drug you believe is important for seventh graders to know about. Name the drug and write at least 2 sentences about your reasons for educating seventh graders about it.

2) What does this drug do to the brain, and what are its short-term and long-term effects on the brain, the rest of the body, or the mind? Write at least 3 sentences on this topic that seventh-graders could understand.

3) What are some internal and external reasons that a teen might use, or decide not to use, this drug? Write at least 3 sentences on this topic that seventh-graders could understand.

4) Assume you were going to teach this information to a group of seventh graders. Pick a title for your presentation that would make the seventh graders want to listen to you.

1) One drug 7th graders and older should know about is Tylenol with the chemical name Acetaminophen. Tylenol is important because it is used for commonly not only amongst kids but also adults to treat muscle pains and to reduce fever. 7th graders should learn about how much Tylenol is necessary to help treat pains, in order to safely use it when they must.
