An orbit is the gravitationally curved trajectory of an object, or in other words, why and how our planets make their way around the sun, which also causes the seasons to “change,” why we have colder weather, warmer weather, and why we have night and day.

I hope this helps!

Answer:

It's a repeating part that one object in space takes around one another.
