Answer:

The answer is 12

Explanation:

We will have to follow the rule of PEDMAS which states:

P - Parenthesis

E - Exponents

D - Division

M - Multiplication

A - Addition

S - Subtraction

This means the equation in the parenthesis should be solved first,

(25 - 5) = 20

It should be divided by 5

20 ÷ 5 =4

4 should be added to 8

4 + 8 = 12

Therefore,

(25 - 5) ÷ 5 + 8 = 12
