Question: What were the main causes of WW1?

Answer: The main causes of WW1 were the aforementioned items coming into play (alliances, imperialism, militarism, nationalism) was the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary. Also in 1914 a terrorist group called the Black Hand sent groups to assassinate the Archduke that was only a big part in WW1.
