Explanation:

To find m or the slope you need to find 2 locations that the line intercepts a point on the graph. I used (0,2) and (2,1).

Then you find the difference of the x and y coordinates. (x,y)

X-coordinates: 0 and 2. 0 - 2 = -2

Y-coordinates: 2 and 1. 2 - 1 = 1

A slope fraction is the difference of y over the difference of x coordinates. It would be written as 1/-2 or -1/2. m= -1/2

To find the b value, just look at the y-intercept or where the line intercepts the y-axis. Which is at (0,2). So b=2
