7. The length of a rectangle is 5 cm more than its width, w.
(For parts a) and b), write the starting formula then the simplified answer.)
a) Write an expression for the perimeter of the rectangle in terms of its width. (Perimeter=the sum of all sides of a shape)


b) Rearrange the formula to isolate for w.


c) The perimeter of the rectangle is 26 cm. What are the dimensions of the rectangle?
(Show your substitution then state the values for width and length)
