Both your narratives this week tackle the “otherness” of being Black in America.
Using the "Appeal to Readers" section of In Conversation (4.8), argue which appeal is being used in both essays (they might not be using the same appeal) and why you think the authors chose to appeal to their readers this way. You are taking a position, so you should have a thesis statement and use evidence from the two narratives to back up your statement.
