is it ok to use hot glue on wireless headphones as long as its on the outside not touching the wiring ?

Uhh yeah you should be able to, but I wouldn't recommend putting too much. If it is cracked then normal super glue is fine but if there is a piece missing or the earpiece has broken JUST BUY NEW ONES.

Of course. Just make sure you don't use a very hot glue gun. It can melt or warp the plastic.
