Answer:

Well, Hinduism never spread because Buddhism was spread along the Silk Road. Mongol Empire had a primary religion of Buddhism, and it was the largest empire at the time. It controlled most of the Silk Road. This is how Buddhism spread and Hinduism did not. Best of Luck!
