On the first half of a birdwatching trip, Marya saw 8 birds, and 25% were cardinals. By the end of the trip, she had seen 12 more birds, none of which were cardinals. What percent of all of the birds that Marya saw were cardinals?

Answer:

10% of all the birds she saw were cardinals.

Explanation:

25% of 8 is 2

So she saw 2 cardinal birds overall.

12+8=20

2 0f 20 is 10%

Hope this helps. Have a nice day!
