Hi, I am not gonna do this on paper, but I will try and explain it well.

70 degrees and <y are supplementary angles, which means the sum of their measurments adds up to 180 degrees. Therefore, 180-70 gives us <y

So, <y = 110 degrees.

Then, to find <x, we know the angle opposite it is 70 degrees, so it too is 70 degrees (I forgot the theorem for this but it exists lol)

therefore,

<y = 110 degrees

<x = 70 degrees
