Do you think that science and religion can coexist? Explain.

Answer:

Yes, I do. Science is only capable of proving or disproving a scientific idea or theory which is an idea or theory that can be proven true and false by testing. Since god is inherintly unscientific, the scientific stance is neutral. You can also look at it as since god dosen't have a scientific definition, theological noncognitivism is the only viable stance. Either way, they cannot conflict because one cannot acknowledge the other.

The USA's National Academy of Science supports the view that science and religion are independent. Science and religion are based on different aspects of human experience. In science, explanations must be based on evidence drawn from examining the natural world.
