Explanation:

One small box: 35 lbs (s)

One large box: 65 lbs (l)

If you want to find the total weight for 10 small boxes and 15 large boxes, set up the equation.

10s+15l. This equation is also the answer to part B.

We already know s and l (the weights of the boxes) so plug the values in.

we get:

350+975.

Now add them to get the total weight.

The total weight is 1325 lbs.

The first part is 1325

10 x 35=350

15 x 65=975

The you add them which equals 1325
