Both parents or parent is responsible for the child or children. You have to make sure your aware of what is to come and what is to happen. You protect and love your child and keep them out of harms way. You have to take care of them and discipline them in a appropriate manner. Do not hit your children or verbally abuse them they will never learn properly that way and it’s child abuse. Lastly make sure you love them and always listen to what they have to say.
