SchoolShop sells a 10 pack of pencils for $1.45 but you have a $3.00 coupon. How many packs of pencils would you have to buy for the prices to be the same at each store?

Let the number of packs of pencils bought =

Therefore, price at SupplyCo for

0.95x

And price at SchoolShop for
