z = 92°

Explanation:

From the picture attached,

Two straight lines are intersecting each other at a point so that,

(12x + 50)° + (13x + 30)° = 180° [Linear pair of angles]

25x + 80 = 180

25x = 100

x = 4

Therefore, measure of (13x + 40)° = 13×4 + 40

= 52 + 40

= 92°

Since, z° = (13x + 40)° [Vertically opposite angles]

Therefore, z° = 92°
