So simple distillation is used to separate a mixture of two immiscible liquids (for example acetone and water) When we are boiling the mixture in the distilling flask, and we reach the boiling point of one of the liquids (example: 56 degrees boiling p of acetone), how do we maintain this temperature and not allow the liquid to gain higher temperature?
