Remark

Usually the statements are written from your broker's and his accountant's point of view. That being said, he looks at the numbers as a debit for a plus, and a credit as a minus. We'll assume it started out as a new purchase.

Debit Credit Balance

0 0

1423 1423

1423 2846

10 2836

813 2023

1223 800

None of the answers match. I have done it correctly. There is no way you will get a fractional amount from those numbers. You are going to have to take it to your teacher/instructor to find out how it is done.
